A woman’s physical scars hold stories of survival, of having made it, of going through death and back. Battle scars tell us that are will to live has won. Our bodies won. We are the sisterhood of the scar clan. We’re connecting back to them with love and healing, and releasing the history they hold. We’re releasing the shame and pain that they’ve meant. Their presence and message is fully received. We are ready for them to integrate back into our bodies.
She is not ashamed of her scars. They are NOT a blot on her body. They have offered her a healthy body. We owe them as teachers. She does not judge them. She touches them with love.
